It’s Electronic Records Day! I know you are all probably preparing to celebrate with your friends and family (and maybe with a cake), so I wanted to point you to a few things happening today.
The Council of State Archivists started Electronic Records Day three years ago as an opportunity to raise awareness about issues surrounding electronic records. They have a number of promotional tools that would be useful for most days of the year. The Government E-Records tips is particularly helpful in the professional setting and the Survival Strategies for Personal Digital Records could be a good way to engage with family and friends on the importance of managing our electronic content.
What other resources could we add to our toolkit to talk about the importance managing electronic records?
